Competitions
In 2009 I posted information about two photography competitions that I had come across and realized that many of you showed interest in them. By publishing some more I've often found myself in the dilemma as to whether to actually post it or not: many want photo usage rights just by submitting your photo to them.
By receiving feedback from you about this topic, I have decided to try to make it easy to see the photo usage rights policy of individual competitions. For this, I've developed 'Photo Usage Rights Ratings' system (see the stars below). Read the full description of the stars and decide what is still acceptable for you!
By doing that, I also hope to encourage all photographers, amateurs and professionals, to pay attention to photo usage rights more.
