I’ve just returned from Spain. The good news is that I have some new photos. The bad news is that my camera stopped working. Hopefully it can be repaired.. I’m not sure what I would do without it!

My camera was working for only about two days of a week-long trip. The places I’ve visited during the trip were Sevilla, Cádiz, Córdoba, Granada, Malaga, Marbella and Ronda (in that order). Unfortunately my camera stopped working already in Seville, so during the other visits, I was forced to use only my mobile phone and a simple compact digital camera, which was very politely lended to me by a friend.

Just then I could feel the difference of holding a SLR camera and a compact digital camera (or using a mobile camera for that matter). What a difference! It’s going from a raceing horse to a mule. :( The control you have with a SLR camera is much much greater; I probably shouldn’t even lose any words about the quality and control of the colours…

I’m trying to stay positive that in a week I’ll get a call saying that my camera is working and ready to use.. for the new trip. Till then, I hope you will enjoy some of the new photos!
