4. Photo Requirements

AREA WHERE IT CAN BE TAKEN: anywhere

AGE OF PHOTO: no limit

IMAGE FORMAT: Must be taken with a pinhole camera! Digital: JPEG (high quality), max size 2832 x 2128 pixels, 72 dpi or higher, RGB color space. Print: 8×10″ or 11″x17″ Color or black and white prints made on photo paper (no inkjet printed photos).

PHOTO EDITING: No masks, borders, backgrounds or other artistic effects are allowed. All digital manipulation is unacceptable.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Hard copy prints or transparencies from digital sources must be of reproduction quality.

5. Legal Issues

By submitting a photograph to the International Photography Contest you warrant that you are the owner of the image, that you alone own the copyright, and that you have obtained any necessary third-party releases.”

Goa Center for Alternative Photography will have [to submitted photos] the nonexclusive, perpetual right to use your image in connection with the contest and promotion of the contest, in any media now or hereafter known, including, but not limited to: display at a potential exhibition of winners; publication of a book featuring select entries in the contest; publication in online, highlighting entries or winners of the contest.

I hereby declare that, I am the creator and copyright holder of the photographs and I give Goa-CAP permission for its unlimited use for activities under the auspices of organization without any remuneration being due.

By entering the Contest, all entrants grant an irrevocable perpetual, nonexclusive license to Authorized Parties, to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works of the entries (along with a name credit) in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest, in any media now or hereafter known, including but not limtied to: display at a potential exhibition of winners; publication of a book featuring select entries in the Contest; publication in online highlihting entries or winners of the Contest…”

2nd place: Zero 2000 deluxe version of 3 Zero Image Camera (with name engraving for the winner)

3rd place: Zero 2000 basic version of 3 Zero Image Camera (with name engraving for the winner)
