3. What should photos be about?

Send us your best shots and your photo could be selected to appear on a future 2010 cover of this magazine.

Content can include scenery, community events and community residents enjoying local activities. Photos from all seasons will be considered.

Maximum 6 images per entry.

4. Photo Requirements

AREA WHERE IT CAN BE TAKEN: Photos must be from within GVEA’s service area.

AGE OF PHOTO: no limit

IMAGE FORMAT: Only vertical photos are eligible. Each photo submission must include a digital and printed copy at 8×10 inches. Digital file must have a resolution of 300 dpi at 8×10 inches.

PHOTO EDITING: There is no information about any restrictions.

GVEA retains the right to use winning photos in additional media including print and web. Photo credit will be given.

6. Judging

JUDGE: Mike Teegarden, professional photographer and assistant Ruralite editor

JUDGING CRITERIA: There is no information how the photographs will be judged.

7. Prizes

Winning photos:

• featured on the cover of Ruralite magazine for one issue in 2010
• featured at their Annual Members’ Meeting on April 27
• featured on www.gvea.com
• $100 per winning photo
