		<description>Hey Jason,

It seems it is a small world. How long are you in Athens? : )

It is hard for me to recommend a place, for what I have seen, in camera shops they are selling some monopods and tripods, but they are usually not the best brands (here it will all depend on what camera you own and how steady you want monopod to be). If you are looking for a particular brand/model of a monopod, it is easier to just contact their representative and they will give you the address of the shop where you can see &amp; try &amp; buy it.

Before buying it, also make sure that you will be allowed to use it (e.g. archaeological places, museums, etc).

<description>Interesting article. I am contemplating buying a monopod to have very a few specific reasons and I think maybe I may purchase one now. I also live in Athens, do you have a place you recommend for a good selection of accessories, also good prices?

(Also, I am a tour manager in Athens...small world?)
